Dr. W. Eric Martin

Dr. W. Eric Martin DDS, PC graduated from Northwestern University Dental School in 1998 and then spent the following year in a general practice residency in the Navy at Great Lakes Naval Hospital. The residency allowed him to develop further expertise in all areas of general dentistry. In February 2011, Dr. Martin was awarded a Fellowship in the ICOI for extensive post-graduate education in the field of dental implants. In 2018, after several more years of work, he was awarded Diplomate status in the organization, which is the highest award given. Dr. Martin has provided dental care to Champaign-Urbana area residents since 1999. He is an active member of CEREC Doctors Mentor Group and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. In addition, he has served as the past President for the Illinois District Dental Society and on the Illinois State Dental Society’s Peer Review Committee, as both a member and Chairman. He is a proud member of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, where he won a pre-doctoral award while still attending dental school.
Dr. Martin focuses on continuing education that helps to incorporate the latest and greatest technology, such as CEREC single-visit restorations and computer-guided implant surgery into his practice. By incorporating technology, Dr. Martin strives to make dentistry easier, less invasive, and more convenient for his patients.
Dr. Martin lives in Champaign with his wife, Joy, and two children, Madeline and Will. He enjoys traveling, scuba, and cooking in his free time.
