Our Champaign Dentist
Dr. Eric Martin
Dr. Martin has provided dental care to Champaign-Urbana area residents since 1999. He graduated from Northwestern University Dental School in 1998, and then spent the following year in a general practice residency in the Navy at Great Lakes Naval Hospital, which allowed him to develop further expertise in all areas of general dentistry.
Dr. Martin focuses on continuing education that helps to incorporate the latest and greatest technology such as CEREC single-visit restorations and computer-guided implant surgery into his practice. By incorporating technology, Dr. Martin strives to make dentistry easier, less invasive, and more convenient for his patients. He has been an active member in the CERECDoctors Mentor Group for several years, where he helps peers learn to fully utilize the potential of their CEREC machines. Additionally, in February 2011, Dr. Martin was awarded a Fellowship to the International Congress of Oral Implantologists for extensive post-graduate education on the subject of dental implants. He combines his knowledge in both areas to place and restore dental implants in our office.
In addition to being a past president of the Illini District Dental Society, Dr. Martin currently serves the dental community by serving on the Illinois State Dental Society’s Peer Review Committee. Dr. Martin lives in Champaign with his wife, Joy, and two children, Madeline and Will.
